From Studio to Goodsheds - How WeldedbySPJ has grown

Welded by SPJ didn’t start in big, we really weren't sure how popular Permanent Jewellery would be in the Vale of Glamorgan. We'd seen it in America and loved the idea of creating something unique for each of our Customers, but it was a gamble. 

It started in the studio for Seren Popi Jewellery's workshops, with our first few Customers being really pleased that they had found somewhere local to them that offered welded jewellery. But it was at our first Popup in Goodsheds in Barry, surrounded by food stalls, local makers and a community that believes in supporting small Welsh businesses that it really took off.

Back then, Seren Popi Jewellery was already known for handmade sterling silver jewellery, and when permanent jewellery began appearing internationally, our Goodsheds customers were some of the very first in our local area of the Vale of Glamorgan to really love it.

We started to believe we could build something really special, we based our offering on providing the best Customer service and a great selection of chains, charms and connectors to make sure there was something to suit everyone.

This became the foundation of what WeldedbySPJ is today; the first and most established permanent jewellery brand in the Vale of Glamorgan.

As demand grew, so have we, we've held Popups in sooo many locations around Barry, Cardiff and the Vale and permanent jewellery our studio in Peterston-Super-Ely has never been busier.

But Goodsheds will always be where it all took off for us, it allowed us to meet so many of our Customers and we always have sold out events there, we are so grateful.
