Learn how to make one of my gorgeous Sea Glass adjustable rings. In this Workshop you will make a stunning Sterling silver adjustable Sea Glass ring, make the hammered silver band, and solder and shape a handmade Silver bezel then learn how to set the Sea glass.
You will learn how to make the ring from scratch in a small class of 4 students, in my purpose built jewellery studio in Peterston-Super-Ely in the Vale of Glamorgan.
This 3 and a half hour workshop is a perfect introduction for anyone interested in jewellery making and will teach traditional Silversmithing skills.
You will learn how to:
- Use a jewellers piercing saw to cut metal
- Shape and form a ring using a jewellers ring mandrel and hammers
- Solder Silver
- Texture metal
- Set Sea glass into a bezel
- Clean, file and polish Silver
Everything you need to make the jewellery will be provided for you, if you wear glasses for reading/ close up work it's best to bring them along. Long hair should be tied back for the class and I recommend avoiding wearing clothes with long, flowing sleeves.

It is very important to us to be as sustainable as possible. We carefully choose our suppliers who offer 100% recycled Silver and Gold. These metals can be recycled time and time again without it affecting the original quality.
We plan to launch a jewellery repurpose scheme, taking in your unwanted or broken Sterling Silver and Gold jewellery in return for a discount on new pieces.
Responsible packaging.
Whilst we love luxury boxes and ribbons, they always end up being thrown away eventually. So your jewellery will arrive packaged in beautiful Poppy seed infused card, which can be planted to grow.
All postal boxes are FSC certified and everything will be recyclable.
